I created this layout for the blog challenge at the ScrapRoom, using Julie Bonner’s sketch. I wanted to use the diecut that came in the kit, but didn’t want to center it, it’s just too big for that. So I chopped of an inch on the side and bottom, then used some Studio Calico Mr. Huey in the calico cream to soften the darkness of the diecut paper. I also used it on the background gold, but it didn’t show up much. I cut out the tag and pop-dotted it and the sayings below the picture to give it some dimension.
