I was on a roll with this product from finishing up a retreat layout - so I continued on to try and kill the kit. I didn’t quite make it, but was able to make 3 more layouts out of it before I grew tired of looking at it.

Scrapbook Generation Retreat Weekend
The very last SG Retreat and Danielle and I had to attend. I’m so glad that we did. I had a bunch of planned layouts from the retreat back in March - so I continued to work through them at record pace!

Creative Saturday, once again!
I was very creative on Saturday again this week. The house stayed a disaster, Zoe and I stayed in our jammies and missed showers - but sometimes a little creativity needs to take over.
Sketches from Scrapbook Generations. Products used were from the ScrapRoom monthly kits - Fancy Pants, Bazzill and Echo Park.

Catching up on a few…
I’ve had these started, just waiting on the journaling and some embellishing. This is where I started after homework was finished last Saturday. This kicked off the next 36 hours of creating (in between housework and meals).
Both of these are Basic Grey products: Sugar Rush and Green at Heart (thanks, Danielle!)
Sketches are from Scrapbook Generation, more or less.

August layouts
This layout was created using the monthly sketch from The ScrapRoom, by Aphra Bolyer
Thank you, Danielle!
How awesome is this special birthday gift from my dear friend, Danielle? Since our very first retreat together, our motto has been “Just Glue It” - so she had that embroidered on the perfect tote for my embellishments. My previous carry-all for embellies was just not adequate any longer and I had been searching for the past year for something better. Of course, Danielle knows what I need better than I do - I LOVE this!!
I have two ITSO containers inside the tote, one large one that holds extra packages of BG brads and flowers and other misc. fancy brads. On the top tray, I’ve got all my titling and journaling cards along with tags, flowers, bling. In the pockets, I store my packaged twine, bag of crocheted goodness (mostly from my step-mom, Nancy - I love them!!). In other pockets are packaged buttons, JBS butterflies (how’d I get so many of these?!) and Tim Holtz memo pins (I really need to start using these, I have two packages and don’t know why). I keep the side mesh pockets empty so that when I attend crops or scrap night, I have a place to carry my beverages.
Here it is, hanging out on my scrap island. See what I mean? It’s perfect - I never would have thought to bring in this fabric and now that I see it, I have to have more of it!
For those of you interested in these bags, they are sold by Thirty One. A friend of mine will be signing up in September and I plan to hold a catalog party. If you want more information, I will be happy to send along an invite to my party. Thanks!
Thank you, Danielle, for bringing style to my scrap place and for the gift of your friendship! So glad to be back in Missouri!! :)

More layouts from May
Taking the day off with the Grabers
I made this layout using a sketch from Allison Davis from Sketches for Scrapping Volume 8, I believe. I used the new October Afternoon 9-5 line, which I thought was cute with the title of “We’re Taking the Day Off”, which is exactly what Uncle Robbie and I did. The girls actually went to classes in the morning and were off the rest of the day with us.

A few Saturday layouts
This layout is based on the Sketch Support sketch last week. I used my least favorite kit this month from ScrapRoom - it’s the SEI Field Notes line. I’m just not a fan of SEI. However, I have to say that this line did inspire the Halloween story from last year - Zoe choosing to be Mothra again.

Happy 10 years to Pa and Nancy!
Unfortunately, my packing efforts to get this framed layout to them in Florida wasn’t so successful.
Pa - this is what it looked like when it left here. Sorry for the trouble of fixing it.
