My Library of Memories - All About Us

It was time to put all my layouts away in their albums, I had no more room on the display easel and that's my process. So, as I was putting the layouts away, it finally hit that point that I HAD to start organizing the layouts in my All About Us, the largest of my albums. I had just started on the 5th and wanted to get busy and get the layouts into their sub-sections. After pulling out all the layouts, this is what I had.

After getting them all out of their page protectors, I began sorting into stacks. I originally thought I'd need these sections: Zoe, Dave, Kim, Us and Pets. After getting them into their categories, I decided to go ahead and break them down further.

I was just going to do quick section dividers to just get me by until I felt more creative in what I wanted to do for all the albums. This is what I came up with, using my Studio Calico Noah alphas (I'm not sure the brand of the "volume three" stamps). I like how these turned out, I realize they are missing something - I just don't know what I want to add to spice it up. Also, I need to add tabs and something to the top since most of my layouts are 12x12 and I wanted to just use 8.5x11 for the dividers. I'm in no hurry, at least it's there and the layouts are now safely away in their sections.

This is how my albums line up now for the US stuff. Zoe's got 2 baby albums from her first year. Then, in my early days of scrapbooking, I thought I'd just continue recounting the days of her - thusly named "Life and Times of Zoe" and I have 3 volumes of those 8.5x11 albums. Volume 3 in that series ends in 2007. Then 2008 and forward, the layouts are spread across the Library of Memories system as developed by Stacy Julian. I've just added the photo labels to the US albums until I come up with a better way. I used ink on those numbers awhile back, so now I'll just have to use those 4 for Zoe and at some point, get another album because all the other layouts are jam-packed in those last 2.

Oh, and since I do go back and scrap older pictures and definitely scrap out of order, I have some 2005-2007 layouts in Volume 1 of Zoe's All About Us album. Perhaps I'll go back someday and incorporate those older 3 volumes into the rest of my layouts... just not today. I want to get back to scrapping again sometime soon!

Next up! Moving on to the Things We Do albums. After sorting my US layouts, I found several that did not belong in the US section, but were more appropriate for either Things or Places or People... so now I have to continue the project.
