Camp SG

The last time I was able to go to a scrapbook retreat was two years ago when we made the trek from Arizona so that I could attend the Scrapbook Generations retreat with my friend, Danielle. Who knew that two years later, it would be a local jaunt for me to attend again! I'm thrilled that we were able to make it this year - we had such a fantastic time! Thank you, SG!!

Here's the car, loaded down. We just threw her stuff on top of mine - perhaps next time, we'll take time to load it a little more effectively.

On Friday night, Danielle and I both vowed to complete our mini-books we had been wanting to get done. She did such a fantastic job on her ABC's of Marisa album - I love how it turned out! Here she is adding those finishing touches to make it complete.

The caterer outdoes herself. She's a one-woman show but you'd never know based on all the little touches of perfection. Here's a scene she set up for us while we waited in line to get our food. The food was absolutely amazing!

This is where we spent our 2 days - back in the corner, cutting and adhering and laughing.

Danielle working on a layout about us moving back to Missouri - this touched me and I had to take a picture.

And finally, the camp girls and their special shirts. I surprised Danielle with a custom made t-shirt for the retreat. Two years ago, our motto was "Just Glue It" and we've said since then that we needed to make shirts. So - I surprised her with just that.
