New Scrap-Island

I don't think I've shared this on the blog yet. Last month, I had enough of moving my creating space to the kitchen table and back again every weekend. I wanted to have a project in process and be able to leave it out during the week... without the fear of a certain little girl spilling her milk or juice or water all over the table and my project.

I found this lovely gem of a work island that fits perfectly in the kitchen/dining area that I share as my scrap space. My desk is off to the right and I have most of my supplies on this island or in the top 2 drawers to the left of me, also using the counter for my favorite alpha's and sticker sheets and the current Studio Calico kit.

This picture was taken just after I got it and had everything loaded on the cart. It looks just a bit different now that I've been using it for the past month. Someday soon I'll get full pictures of my shared space and give a little tour. I don't think I've done that since moving back to Missouri and losing my loft space.
