Time for another ScrapRoom/loft/office reorganization! Actually, the main reason it needed reorganized this time was because of Dave's new position and office location. He started working from home a month ago. In our small loft/office area, we had 4 computers and 6 monitors running, plus all of that heavy wood bookshelving from Ikea. It got HOT, not to mention, just a little too crowded and crazy. So, Dave and I brainstormed as to what needed to be done. We discussed moving the office down to the living room and making the loft the home theatre room. Too much work involved there. The only real solution was for him to move downstairs to the living room and make a work area for himself there and let me spread out here in the loft. Yes, I know, I'm spoiled and let me tell you, I feel every bit of it. I have a dream office/studio. I will be sharing this space with Zoe, for her crafting and school work and whenever we decide to get her her own computer.
So for now - here are some quick pictures I took today.

This is off to my right while sitting at my desk. This is the majority of my scrap supplies area.
I still have more organizing to go, but this is the bulk of it. Furniture is in place, supplies are mostly where they'll be... now I'm anxious to see how it'll all work out.

I am envious of your new space and opportunity to organize. I absolutely LOVE those IKEA shelves and think they're an organizers dream. I know they're not new, but I can really see them now and all the stuff you store on them. SO wish I had one. Love the newly organized space!
